Worth the Return!
After getting rained out earlier in the month, Muriel Turner of the Executive Women's Golf Association, returned to finish her round on June 29, 2008. She recorded her first hole in one from the ladies tees on Hole #5 at the Links at Challedon. She used a pitching wedge to score the perfect shot of 93 yards. The moment was witnessed by Jenny Archer.

Perfect Start!
On June 24, 2008, Phillip Mckee of Montgomery Village, hit his first shot of the day right into the cup. While competing in a Maryland Interclub Senior Golf Association event, Mr. Mckee started his round with an ace on hole #12 at the Links at Challedon. His shot was enjoyed by all competitors that day, as he bought a round of drinks for everyone after the competition.

Congratulations Richard Stem,
Mr. Stem recorded his first Hole in One on the 5th hole of the Links at Challedon! Mr. Stem used a 8 iron from 103 yards. Using a Callaway ball Mr. Stem hit his shot onto the fringe which then rolled into the cup. Sharon Carpenter was his witness. Great shot!

Nice Shot!
On November 13, 2007, Bill Matthews (center) of Olney, MD scored his second hole in one on Hole #12. From the silver tees (151 yards), Bill hit his 7 Iron directly at the flagstick on the back tier of the green. The Nike Super Far golf ball landed 2" from the cup and went straight in on the first bounce. This perfect shot was witnessed by his best friend Patrick Normyle and Jim Harry.

Get in the hole!
Congatulations to Sarah Marchbanks. On Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, local golfer Sarah Marchbanks made her first hole in one at the Links at Challedon. On hole #5, she used a 9 iron on the short 93 yard par 3 hole.
