FOOD AND BEVERAGE Consumption · Food and beverages not purchased at Links at Challedon are not permitted on the premises at any time, unless prior arrangements have been made with the golf shop. · The amount of money charged to the group for food & beverage will include all persons consuming the food and beverage whether they participated in golf or not. · Keg beer is permitted at the clubhouse area only. Keg stations may be set up at the Clubhouse patio area only and all alcohol must be dispensed by a Links at Challedon employee. Keg beer may not be put into golf carts. Personal coolers are not permitted on the golf course at any time, without the permission of the golf shop.
RULES AND REGULATIONS All Food & Beverage arrangements must be finalized fourteen (14) days prior to the golf outing. All alcoholic beverage consumption will require proper identification. All alcoholic beverage consumption is permitted in the clubhouse and on the golf course only. Due to Maryland Alcohol Beverage Control and insurance regulations, the beverage cart must be driven at all times by an employee of Links at Challedon. Links at Challedon reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to anyone at any time for whatever reason. All Food and Beverage items must be purchased from Links at Challedon. Approved donated food items may be assessed a surcharge. There will be NO donated alcoholic beverages allowed. All Food and Beverage is subject to Maryland Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity. All Food and Beverage purchased will be due and payable the day of the event. Food and Beverages will be itemized on the Golf Event Invoice. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, check, or major credit card. RULES AND REGULATIONS GOLF COURSE Starting All players must start on the #1 tee unless other arrangements, such as a Shotgun Start, have been made through the golf shop. Rules of Play · Play on the golf course shall be governed by the Tournament Contract as well as these Rules and Regulations and is to be distributed by the coordinator to all participants. · Play must begin from tees designated for your outing. Specific tee arrangements will be made prior to teeing off. · Groups must play their event in 4½ hours or less. All players are expected to play ready golf. All players are to keep pace with the group ahead of them. Marshals are on the course to ensure pace of play. Refusal of Privileges The tournament group is responsible for proper conduct while on the golf course property. The tournament group is responsible for obeying the posted daily cart path rules, replacing divots, repairing ball marks on the green and raking of sand traps. Unruly behavior, foul language, throwing of clubs, hitting shots into groups will not be tolerated. All golfers will be expected to adhere to proper golf etiquette including ready golf. Links at Challedon shall have the right to refuse golf course privileges to anyone who, is judged to be in violation of the established Rules and Regulations. Personal Property · Links at Challedon is not responsible for any, personal property left in lockers or anywhere else on Club grounds. · Links at Challedon is not responsible for loss of or damage to any motor vehicle driven or parked on club grounds. · Links at Challedon assumes no responsibility or liability, whatsoever, for any injury or damage caused to persons or property resulting from play on the golf course. · Players should report immediately to the Golf Shop any personal injury or property damage that occurs on the golf course. Decorum · Outing participants are required to wear clothing that is customary to golf. Players must wear collared shirts and golf or tennis shoes and may not wear sweat pants or cut-offs. · Each player must have his/her own set of clubs when playing the course. No more than one player shall play out of one bag. Rental sets are available in the pro shop, but are limited. · Any tournament participant or event spectator/volunteer deemed to be acting in an improper manner will be asked to leave the golf course. Operation of Golf Carts · Use of golf carts is mandatory for all outing rounds. · Each outing participant is responsible for driving his/her cart in a safe and proper manner. Links at Challedon reserves the right to revoke cart privileges and ask the abuser to leave the premises. · Golf carts must not be driven past directional signs placed in front of greens and tees and drivers must observe posted signs for control of the golf carts. Golf carts must not be taken over greens, tees, flower beds, or sand traps. · Golf carts are not to be driven through wet areas or over sprinkler heads. · No more than two golf bags and two riders shall be permitted per golf cart. · Each outing participant is responsible for and will be charged accordingly for physical damage to his/her golf cart. While a golf cart is in motion, feet must be kept on the floor. · Only persons with a valid drivers license will be permitted to rent or operate a golf cart. Liability · The Club assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injury or damage to persons or property resulting from play on the golf course. · Players on the golf course are expected to report immediately to the Golf Shop any injury or damage to persons or property caused by him/her. |
